Shri. Ramesh Narayan is a gifted music composer, director and Hindustani vocalist. His renditions are noted for their depth of imagination and intricate, varied and challenging rhythms. He also plays the sitar with aplomb.

His group, Ragasamanwaya, was created to demonstrate the universal nature of music, with the idea that all forms and styles of music the world over share a common source—the first sound at the origin of the universe.
