Tal-Kin-Jeri (Australia)
Tal-Kin-Jeri is an aboriginal dance group who come from the region of rivers and lakes in the state of South Australia. Their founder and director is Major Sumner, a respected member of the Ngarindjeri Clan. In the mid-1990s, he founded the group to perform the traditional dances and stories of the Ngarindjeri people and other clans, and to foster the re-establishment of indigenous dance in Australia.
Tal-Kin-Jeri means "Wild Bush Turkey." The group is presenting a series of dances showing their appreciation of the Creator, life and creation. The performance is accompanied by songs, stories and the traditional indigenous instrument, the didgeridoo.

The group is comprised of Major Sumner (director/performer), Robert Pitson (coordinator/narrator), Joshua Pitson (didgeridoo), Walter Jackson (singer), as well as dancers Jarrad Pitson, Nicholas Hayne, Andrea Pitson, Jessica Sumner, Charlotte Sumner and Tracie Turnbull.
