Seven New Spiritual Books
During the Amritavarsham50 Celebrations, the Mata Amritanandamayi Math released seven new spiritual books, adding to its already diverse and deep catelogue of publications.
Seven books in total were released during the Amritavarsham50 Celebrations
There were three books of Amma’s teachings: From Amma’s Heart: Conversations with Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, Embracing the World: Images and Sayings of Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi and Lead Us to the Light, Volume Two, a collection of Amma’s addresses on special occasions such as Her birthday and religious festivals, like Onam, Kerala’s day of harvest.
Two books by Amma’s senior disciples were released, including Amritattva, a collection of spiritual writings in Malayalam by Swami Turiyamritananda, and Racing Along the Razor’s Edge, the first book of spiritual discourses by Swami Ramakrishnananda.
There were also two commemorative books issued: the Amritavarsham50 Souvenir and an art book collecting many of the paintings inspired by Amma in the Colours of Compassion Art Gallery.
One final book, not published by the Ashram, came as a birthday surprise for Amma. The Messiah of Love, Amma’s lifestory in braille, was presented to Amma by a couple from Mumbai when they came for Her darshan on the 26th.
