Shri. A.K. Antony was serving his third term as the chief minister of Kerala at the time of Amritavarsham50. In his long career as a politician, Antony has served two years as a minister and for 10 years on the Rajya Sabha, the Upper House of the Parliament of India. He also was elected as a Member of Kerala’s Legislative Assembly four times from different constituencies.
He says he respects the views of others, and believes fervently in tolerance and broad-heartedness. He says he believes that only through patience and tolerance can society forge ahead.
