Professor Srinivasan is an eminent scholar with a multi-faceted career as a consultant in science and technology. She has a long association with Harvard University. She was one of the first women to be invited as a Fellow to Harvard’s Center for International Affairs and is still an associate.

Besides her academic posts, Professor Srinivasan is a much sought after advisor, and she works with business and governmental organisations. She advises the UN secretary general on the responsibility of corporate and technology issues; is a director of the board of one of the largest Indian computer corporates in the USA, and is also on the board of one of the USA’s oldest philanthropic medical research institutes.
