At the time of Amritavarsham50, Smt. Sushma Swaraj was serving as India’s Honourable Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare. Born in 1952, She was a member of the 11th Lok Sabha (Lower House of Indian Parliament) and holds the distinction of being the youngest Cabinet Minister in Indian history.

Prior to her post as Union Minister for Health, Smt. Swaraj was the Union Cabinet Minister of Information and Broadcasting. She has also been a member of the Rajya Sabha; a Member of the Haryana Legislative Assembly; Haryana’s Cabinet Minister of Labour and Employment and Haryana’s Cabinet Minister of Education, Food and Civil Supplies.
